To help spread kindness this time of year, the third graders worked on a special project with their Kindergarten buddies.  We made holidays cards for the residents at Lasata.  What a great way to show that we care about our community.

In Writer's Workshop, we have started to write informative pieces.  The first step in the process was to pick our topic and then write questions that we would like to answer.  We have been busy trying to find research from the internet and books to answer our questions.

Last week the students went to see Miss Nelson is Missing at the Schauer Theater.  We had a great time with our kindergarten buddies, and the show was really funny!

Veteran's Day Assembly

Each year we show our respect and gratitude for all veterans and anyone actively serving in the military through an assembly showcasing our students' musical talent. Our third graders were very excited for the ukulele debut at the assembly this year, and they did a fabulous job!

Here are some pictures and video clips of the assembly :)

Thorson third graders had a blast at the fall party.  They enjoyed eating treats, dressing up in costumes, and participating in fun activities.  Thank you to all of the parents that contributed to the party to make it a great success.  Check out some of these pictures!

The third graders had a great time with their kindergarten buddies.  They worked together to complete a fall project.  The third graders get together once a month, and we are looking forward to going on a field trip with our buddies in November.
